invitations

I get that
you’re very excited
about your upcoming gig.
I also see that
you’re on the bill with five
other bands and they are
equally excited. so much so
that they each created their own
event on Facebook, which may
or may not
contain your band name
in the title, let alone set times
and an address
in the body of the invitation.
that’s great
for you and for them. but
did you have to invite me
to all of them? I have seven
competing events in other parts
of the city. don’t make me
refuse four out of five invites
because it makes me a little
less likely to want to go to
any of them.
